This year was the first CanJam to happen in NYC. . .About 2,000 CanJammers are estimated to have come. 

I was treated to a demonstration of the Smyth Research Realiser A16 demonstration at CanJam NYC 2017. Nearly everybody who heard the demo had a hard time at first believing the speakers weren’t still on, the surround over headphones was that convincing.

CanJam NYC was a return to roots in many ways for the personal audio community. . the organizers at CanJam Global had been eyeing a return to the Big Apple with the growing success of their events in Southern California, Denver, London and Singapore. 

We spent an exciting weekend at CanJam NYC to find the best new headphones hitting the market. This is our CanJam NYC Headphones review.

Even though everyone is still reveling over the big game this weekend, we had other things along w/ that going on.  Namely, the 1st CanJam show in NYC that took place at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square on both Saturday & Sunday.

Spent time at #CanJam this weekend in NYC & here are some of the awesome headphone & Audio Products I saw & listened to. . .HIFIMAN HE1000 V2, Noble Audio, AudioQuest NightOwl and Dragonfly, and so much more.

Outside of RMAF, this was my first CANJAM. While I am not a headphone kinda guy, I am someone who enjoys seeing people enjoy themselves, especially when its all sorts of people. In this regard, CANJAM ranks right up there with Munich High End, my favorite hi-fi show in the entire world!

We check out headphones and amps at CanJam NYC 2017 from the likes of Schiit, Sennheiser, HiFiMan, Sony, Audeze, Periodic Audio, and THX. Narration, video, and music by Mark Henninger.

Right smack within  the hustle and bustle of the Theater District of NYC (across from The Lion King on Broadway, very close to Times Square) was the venue for the CANJAM NYC 2017; the 6th Floor of the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel.

CanJam London 2016 was a resounding success, and it was great being able to show gear as well as being able to highlight certain equipment that may not have been listened to. Meaning, if you weren’t able to listen to certain equipment that I brought, you can read my thoughts on some of the equipment a little later in this impressions post.

US billionaire Warren Buffett likes to note how little advantage his considerable wealth secures him over the average person. . .
